The Erató Fest Festival is a national festival of small format, of poetry and music, organized by the association ApoloNueva VentanaExternal link, opens in a new window since 2018, and which has the institutional collaboration of entities such as the Toledo City Council or the Sephardic Museum, among others.
In this 2020 edition, the festival will conclude with a very exclusive event in the most important Spanish-Jewish building in Spain, the Tránsito Synagogue, which houses the Sephardic Museum, and which is once again the venue for the festival after the success of the year. past.
Despite the limited capacity required for this final event (no more than 50 people), the Apolo association has decided to keep this place in its programming to make its support for the museum space visible and keep its activity alive.
Raquel Lanseros will open the event by offering a poetic recital. She is a poet, translator, anthologist and teacher. His latest book of poetry “Matria” (Visor, 2018) has obtained in Spain the National Critics Award and the Andalusia Critics Award. He has also published award-winning titles such as “Legends of the Promontory”, “Diary of a flash”, “The eyes of the mist”, “Croniria” or “Little thorns are small”.
The finishing touch will be put by Sheila Blanco, viral singer and composer with her Bioclassics, with a very special concert in which she will present her latest album “Cantando a las poetas del 27”, musicalized poems that make visible Josefina Romo Arregui, Concha Méndez, Elisabeth Mulder, Margarita Ferreras, Dolores Catarineu, Cristina de Arteaga, Pilar de Valderrama, Carmen Conde and Ernestina de Champourcín.
