RBG is an American documentary directed and produced by Betsy West and Julie Cohen, which chronicles the life and career of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Associate Judge of the Supreme Court of the United States. After previewing the film at the Sundance Film Festival in 2018, the film was released in the United States on May 4, 2018.

RBG tells the story of Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s decades-long career and her initiatives in favor of certain laws while becoming an icon of Pop culture. The film traces her life, from her birth in Brooklyn, New York, to her arrival at university, her career as a professor of law, her appointment to the federal bench by President Jimmy Carter, and her appointment to the Court.
