Stone, bronze, marble, alabaster, glass, the work of Lucien Wercollier is inscribed in these various materials that he will in turn discover and never leave. A work to (re) discover at the Abbey of Neumünster where the private collection of the Wercollier family is reinstalled in the ambulatory of the Abbey, in a scenography specially designed for the place. If the sculptures of Wercollier are present in many collections and many public museums in Luxembourg and abroad (Museum of Modern Art in Paris, Israel Museum in Jerusalem, Olympic Museum in Lausanne, Olympic Sculptures Parc de Seoul, Palais de Europe in Strasbourg …) this permanent exhibition is the only ensemble that documents the life and work of one of the great artists of the 20th century.
