Temporary exhibition and study day at the Comtes de Champagne Campus

Thursday 3 March 2022: Opening of the exhibition “The School of Rashi: manuscripts and glossaries, between interpretation, languages and narratives”.

In partnership with the Campus Comtes de Champagne of the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne, the Centre de Recherche Interdisciplinaire sur les Modèles Esthétiques et Littéraires (CRIMEL-EA3311) and the University of Innsbruck

On the occasion of the recent discovery by Franz Staller of fragments of a Hebrew-Old French biblical glossary, dating from 1300 and coming from the southern Champagne region, in the university library of Innsbruck (Austria), an exhibition is organised at the Campus Comtes de Champagne, which will also include photographs of illuminated manuscripts from the 13th to the 16th century as well as commentaries by Nicolas de Lyre.
