“Raw” exhibition

One of the great characteristics of Rembrandt’s work is his unwillingness to idealise the body. To paint it as it appears to him. In an age when visual modifications of the human body are becoming more and more popular thanks to computer tools, the exhibition returns to this major question.

Rembrandt’s drawings are juxtaposed with contemporary works by a dozen artists. All of them apply the same realistic approach in their representation of the body.
