Exhibition In the Kitchen. Jewish culinary culture

The exhibition deals with the culinary question from all angles, personal, cultural and gastronomic. It will present the preparation of characteristic dishes, their history and cuisine, their cultural and religious significance, with variations from country to country.

It also tells the story of how Jews have migrated since the exodus from Israel 2000 years ago and transferred various foods and products, from the Middle Ages to the great waves of emigration in the 19th and 20th centuries to America or Israel.

The exhibition is accompanied by four sculptures by the artist Anna Królikiewicz, which constitute a metaphorical commentary on the history of Jewish food.
