The exhibition is based on the experience of the return of the Jews of Trondheim after the Second World War. The Jewish population of the city halved after the war and tried to rebuild their lives there, following numerous discriminations and dispossessions.
A selection of moods and experiences, memories and stories of the Jewish community in Trondheim in the post-war years are collected and shared with the public. Through a series of documents of all kinds: interviews, films, sound recordings, photos, manuscripts and various objects.
