To mark the 80th anniversary of the Normandy landings, this exhibition looks back at the personal journeys of the brave American soldiers who liberated France. It looks back at their American childhood, with the rise of their country in the first half of the century, the enthusiasm of the Roaring Twenties, but also the Great Depression and racial segregation.
