Richard Schmoucler, founder of the Sirba Octet, a unique ensemble at the crossroads of classical music and Eastern European traditions, presents ‘Tsuzamen’, which means ‘together’ in Yiddish, during this fabulous evening. It is a vibrant tribute to the shared memories of peoples who have been victims of genocide—Jews, Armenians, and Gypsies. This musical project brings together their repertoires to resonate, in a single breath, with brotherhood, resilience, and life. Three cultures, three memories, a common emotion carried by a universal language: music.
