This chamber music concert, performed by musicians from the Nice Philharmonic Orchestra under the artistic direction of Vincent Monteil, is a co-production of the Nice Opera and the Alpes-Maritimes National Museums of the 20th Century. It will be presented in the exceptional setting of the museum’s concert hall, facing Marc Chagall’s stained-glass windows depicting The Creation of the World. The programme features performances by Judith Le Monnier, Jongjia and Julien Gisclard: Dmitri Shostakovich (1906-1975), String Quartet No. 3 in F major, Op. 73 (1946), Philip Glass (1937-) String Quartet No. 2 ‘Compagny’, Franghiz Ali-Zadeh (1947-) Rǝqs (Dance) (2015), Edward Elgar (1857-1934) Salut d’Amour, Op. 12 (1888).
