From 14 June to 2 November 2025 at the Musée de Vence
As part of an association with the Musée National Marc Chagall, the Musée de Vence – Fondation Emile Hugues is honouring the artist by exhibiting his works from the Vence period, produced between 1949 and 1966, during which time the artist lived in Vence. The town’s influence on his work, with its vegetation, its light and its gentle way of life, motivated Chagall to experiment with new artistic techniques. Vence cathedral is home to a mosaic by Chagall depicting Moses.
