From 4 April to 27 September 2026 at the Jewish Museum Frankfurt
Based on conversations with Mike Diamond, one of the three artists from the iconic group the Beastie Boys, Atelier Markgraph, the IMA Clique and the museum have created this exhibition dedicated to the chosen family (Mishpocha meaning family in Yiddish) among artists, fostering inspiration, creation and sharing. Mike Diamond discusses the journey of the Beastie Boys—comprising three Jewish New Yorkers, Adam Horowitz and Adam Yauch—their musical influences ranging from punk to jazz and the rap that made them famous, but also, and above all, all the people they met along the way who formed this wonderful group.
