18 June 2026 at the Portuguese Synagogue

Hundreds of candles illuminate the stage where the group Klezmagic, made up of artists from Amsterdam who draw inspiration from klezmer, Balkan and other musical traditions, are performing. They present a set specially tailored to the venue, featuring clarinet, violins, accordion, drums and guitar. Their first album was ‘Makedamsko’ (2019), followed by ‘De grote race’ (2022). The artists who make up the group are: Joosje Holstein, Esther Koolstra, Nick van der Woude, Gijs Stigter, Joey Doorten, Olivia Jaeggi and Bendert van Dijk.
