This event, organised to mark Marc Bloch’s induction into the Panthéon, will showcase the life and work of the historian and co-founder of the École des Annales, who served as a soldier during both world wars and later joined the Resistance before being arrested and shot by the Gestapo in 1944. The event will be attended by Jean-David Morvan, comic book writer; Xavier Mauduit, historian, author and producer at France Culture; and Suzette Bloch, Marc Bloch’s granddaughter. It will be hosted by Jean-Marc Cimino.
