Organised with great enthusiasm by the Jewish community of Vienna since September 2022 and proving a huge success, this annual event returns once again to mark the start of the year, in an ode to life and the healing of the world. It is organised in partnership with the Friends of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, whose orchestra is celebrating its 90th anniversary under the motto ‘Le’Chaim – To Life’. The centrepiece of the evening is Franz Schubert’s Octet in F major – one of the most important works of Viennese chamber music.
