From 5 November to 3 December 2026
For this anniversary edition, the UK Jewish Film Festival is no exception to the rule. A vast number of films have been invited to screen in London, Manchester and a dozen other towns and cities across the UK, tackling a wide range of powerful and thought-provoking subjects. The Festival opens with a very special film, directed by the great actor Daniel Auteuil and entitled *La Troisième nuit*. It tells the story of a priest who helped to protect and facilitate the escape of many Jewish children during the Holocaust. The closing night of the first part of the Festival, on 15 November, will feature Alexandre Arcady’s new film, *Fausse Note*. It tells the story of a composer at the Opéra-Comique in Paris and a dark secret that resurfaces… Among other events, a series of Israeli short films will be screened during the Festival.
