From 7 October 2026 to 28 February 2027 at the Danish Jewish Museum
This very special exhibition at the Danish Jewish Museum allows visitors to experience the powerful connection that can be forged when architecture, memory and monuments come together. Daniel Libeskind, the architect who designed this museum – which opened in 2004 – has also designed numerous other monuments around the world. Libeskind chose as the museum’s architectural theme the extraordinary courage shown by the Danish people in saving their Jewish fellow citizens during the Holocaust. Thus, this courage is celebrated both inside the museum, through the story told and the objects on display, and outside, in the very structure that houses it.
