20 and 27 October 2026 at the National Holocaust Museum
As the last Holocaust survivors pass away, sharing their stories, their courage and their determination to rebuild their lives despite the horrors they endured is becoming increasingly important. This is at a time when various revisionist theories, supported by a range of ideological currents, are proliferating. The Nottingham museum’s approach enables visitors to engage in dialogue with survivors and learn about their journeys. On 20 and 27 October, a discussion will take place focusing on the life of Zdenka Husserl and other children who survived the Holocaust and found refuge in a children’s home in England.
