The CCJC invites the public to a screening of Alexandre Arcady’s film, starring Benoît Poelvoorde and Kad Merad. The film tackles a subject that is both deeply moving and painful: the encounter between a famous conductor and a persistent admirer. This clash in the present brings to light a past that the protagonists thought was long gone – and of which they are unaware just how shared it is. Once again, Alexandre Arcady explores with emotion and sincerity the heavy silences and the stifled cries of the recent past in the history of France and its key figures.
