From 12 October 2026 to 12 April 2027 at the Rachi European University Institute
As a cultural hub bridging the past and the future in Troyes – a city so dear to Jewish history – the Rachi European University Institute has been organising numerous cultural events, seminars, concerts and courses for many years. The seminar series dedicated to psychoanalytic approaches will feature several sessions during the 2026–2027 academic year. The aim is to explore the concept of ‘the work of culture’, as coined by Sigmund Freud, in a world torn between a desire for progress and the spectre of potentially boundless destructiveness. These seminars will highlight the need for constant evolution in the face of civilisational change.
