As part of its literary café series, the centre is hosting Véronique Teboul-Bonnet, who will be presenting her book and inviting participants to embark on a journey through 16th-century Venice – a city of palaces and the arts, but also of printing. In this novel, the author traces the extraordinary journey of a clandestine printer who, too, seeks to imprint upon her life and her pages the hopes and ambitions of a woman of her time. A literary journey through the Sephardic world and the Renaissance, paved with emotions just as one crosses Venetian bridges.
