2:15 PM – Discussion with Pierre Assouline about his latest book, *TENEZ BON!* (Hang in There!): How Books Give Us Hope

4:15 PM – Performance “Above You, I Carry You Within Me ” – A dramatic staging by the Théâtre à Dire Company, inspired by the deeply moving correspondence between the poet Paul Celan and Ilana Shmueli.

5:30 p.m. – Concert “L’amour en résonance”, featuring the virtuoso violinist Christophe Strassel and the sensitive playing of pianist Sylvain Levy

Meetings with Nurith Aviv at Le Klub Cinema. As the first woman to be recognized as a director of photography in France, she explores in her work the connections between languages, memory, transmission, and identity. Tuesday, October 13, 6:00 p.m.: Screening of *Yiddish* (2020), 8:30 p.m.: *Prénoms* (2026). Wednesday, October 14, 8:30 p.m.: *Annonces* (2013).

Wednesday, October 14, 6:30 p.m. -Autour du Monde Bookstore – A conversation with author and filmmaker Nurith Aviv about her book “Filmer la Parole” (Exils, 2025).

November 2 through December 19, 2026

Photography exhibition: “Regards aimants” at the Saulcy University Library – Metz. These photographs reflect a perspective that does not appropriate the world but welcomes it, allowing people and things to unfold in their own freedom. Photographers: France Louis, Jacques Mielcarek, Pascal Vandeputte. Opening reception on Thursday, November 5, at 5:00 p.m.
