Special School Day: Heritage and Tolerance
Through the history of the Jews of Béziers—from their golden age to their expulsion in 1306, including the Albigensian Crusade—students discover, in the very places where this history unfolded, the evils of intolerance and the virtues of tolerance. The remains of the old Jewish quarters serve as an educational backdrop for this historical narrative.
