The town of Trancoso is an ancient city at the crossroads of many wars, and as such was transformed into a fortress. The Jewish presence probably dates back to the 12th century. Breclav
The Jewish presence in Breclav dates to the sixteenth century. The ghetto, constructed in the seventeenth century can still be visited. The neo-Roman style Synagogue built in 1888.
